A Night on the Tiles! 🏆 Tiles & Stone Direct at the TTA Awards 2026

Celebrating the very best of the UK tiling industry, great partnerships and another fantastic evening with The Tile Association!

It was another brilliant night on the tiles for Tiles & Stone Direct as we joined some of the biggest names in the UK tile and tiling industry for the prestigious The Tile Association (TTA) Awards 2026!

Held on Friday 5th June 2026 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, this year's awards celebrated the theme "Tiling the Future", bringing together tile manufacturers, suppliers, retailers, professional tilers and industry experts from across the UK.

Representing Tiles & Stone Direct were Sagren Naidoo and Ian McBeth, who attended as guests of our friends and valued trade partners at UltraTile.

And, as always, it was a fantastic excuse to catch up with familiar faces, celebrate the industry's achievements and enjoy a proper night on the tiles!

TTA Awards 2026: Celebrating the Future of the UK Tiling Industry

The annual TTA Awards are one of the most important events in the UK wall and floor tiling calendar, recognising outstanding achievements in tile design, innovation, manufacturing, retail, installation and professional craftsmanship.

This year's theme, "Tiling the Future", put the spotlight on the people, products and innovations helping to shape the future of the industry.

From innovative tile installation systems and professional tiling products to exceptional domestic and commercial projects, the awards celebrated the dedication and expertise that keep the UK tiling sector moving forward.

The evening also featured entertainment from comedian Bobby Davro, plenty of opportunities to network and, of course, a well-deserved celebration of the industry's achievements.

A huge congratulations to all the winners, finalists and everyone involved!

A massive thank you to the UltraTile team for inviting us along and for another fantastic evening!

What Is The Tile Association (TTA)?

For anyone new to the industry, The Tile Association (TTA) is the independent trade association representing the UK wall and floor tiling sector.

Established in January 2000, TTA was formed through the merger of four established industry organisations, bringing together decades of expertise and experience.

Today, the association represents a wide range of businesses across the UK tiling industry, including:

• Professional tilers and tile fixing contractors

• Tile manufacturers and distributors

• Independent tile retailers and showrooms

• Suppliers of tile adhesives, grouts and installation products

• Businesses supporting the wider tiling and construction sectors

Its work focuses on raising industry standards, promoting professional training and qualifications, encouraging best practice and supporting the long-term development of the UK tiling industry.

These are values we strongly support at Tiles & Stone Direct.

Giving Back to the Community: Our Support for Children Today

Our connection with the TTA Awards goes beyond enjoying a fantastic evening with industry friends.

At the 2024 TTA Awards, Tiles & Stone Direct proudly contributed £2,000 towards Children Today, a charity helping children and young people with disabilities access specialist equipment that can make a real difference to their everyday lives.

Giving back to the community has always been important to us, and we're pleased to see the TTA Awards continuing to support worthwhile charitable causes.

In fact, the 2026 TTA Awards raised £6,345 for Children Today and the Lighthouse Charity, demonstrating once again the generosity of the UK tiling community.

It's another reminder that our industry is about much more than tiles!
